Downtown New Albany at Night

I'd been itching to take the camera downtown one evening and do some night photography. The shadows, street lamps and neon signs all contribute to give a new perspective to what would be ordinary during the day.

The city was bustling this night too. I had a lot of funny looks from passers by. One elderly couple exiting South Side let me know "it was awful late for taking pictures". I guess they were right.

Cool, Ted. Thanks to fellow blogger and photographer Ed, I've become acquainted with a site dedicated to night photography that you might find interesting.
